My Favorite Crystals and Crystal Skull

It’s 1:00am and I feel compelled to write about my favorite crystals so here I am! If you’re up at this early morning hour, it’s meant for you to think about how crystals could add/contribute to the life for your highest good. I will be overviewing six crystals but five stones. Please feel free to comment below on your own favorite crystals and why! Sharing is always caring!

Amethyst is the stone for aiding in the development of opening and working with the third eye which is also known as the 6th chakra. It can be held during meditation and if placed on the third eye one is able to feel the energy it transmits. It’s a wonderful stone to use before spirit communication to help receive information clearer. I also love its beautiful tones!

Citrine is a crystal that represents the solar plexus chakra and is generally used for developing personal power, creativity, and intelligent decisions. I selected this stone to aid in helping me with manifesting quicker honestly. When meditating I like to keep this stone in my hand or near me to help me bring in my manifestations.

Blue Lapis Lazuli is used for enlightenment, seeking truth, and for psychic development. Wearing this stone assists in channeling your angels and Spirit. I find this stone extremely instrumental in my spiritual journey so it is also with me.

Green Aventurine is a protection stone for the fourth chakra or otherwise known as the heart chakra. This stone will protects others from tapping in or taking energy from you. I am highly sensitive so I do use to stone as a form of energetic protection (along with asking my angels and Spirit posse for protection), AND it is a stone for being in prosperity into one’s life.

Black Tourmaline is used for protection and grounding. When I was suffering from panic attacks due to an incident that I was pre-warned psychically about, I learned about this stone and from then on I’ve been keeping it on my person. Whenever I feel like I need energetic protection I just find this stone in my crystal bag and hold it while deep breathing and visualizing a shield around me and eventually the threat will pass.

The crystal skull that I have was given to me by my Spiritual Mentor, Sa Eeda, so it’s extra special to me. There are many different sizes of skulls but I have a tiny one, but size doesn’t matter, just its intention. Crystal skulls have been used for many centuries for shamanic practices in healing and awaken higher consciousness. I carry the skull for these such reasons. I’m always aiming to learn more so that I can share more of what I receive to you and others who are reading this article now.

There is so much more information you can find on these crystals as well as other crystals that are not on my list. I listed spiritual reasons for why I carry these specific crystals but they do have physical healing properties as well in which I highly encourage you to research if that’s what you’re looking for, and then share what you find with me. I don’t claim to know all the mystical answers, but I will always share what I know and continue to find true to my inner core.

Swimming Beside Fish

You know, I could pop a pill or two,  take a drink or two, or maybe smoke a blunt or two, not to erase my sorrows but to sink further within them…. it’s tempting

YET, because of his love for me he knew where I needed to be… out within the trees, allowing me to breathe, climbing underneath a bridge of the trail to a creek. So I can go beneath and cry…

Re-taught me how to swim, he helped me find my equilibrium.

In Passing…

Breaths are a major part of our existence, if you didn’t know

It brings life and energy.

It allows us to transcend and leave, whether temporarily or permanently.

And it’s never easy but necessary and still we grieve…

Numbness, exhaustion, this will never end

So don’t fear it. Accept and move within it for it’s only inevitable.

Inhale, exhale, leave one existence and continue onward within the next

Sooner than later I’ll see you again…

I found a piece of myself in British Columbia

Vancouver never forgot about me and I shall never forget the city that hwy 5 runs up north to. Spirit told me months prior that I would be going to Vancouver and for awhile I fought against it but what’s meant to be will always be. I flew out of Sacramento into Seattle not knowing how this trip would turn out and I didn’t let it worry me. I arrived in Seattle and settled in my room. In the middle of the night I heard my name, loud, clear, and speaking with a feminine tone. I woke up confused because I was the only person in my room, yet I felt protected because I knew Spirit was with me. In the morning I got my things together got on the shuttle back to SeaTac (airport) to get my rental car and head north to Vancouver. Driving up I decided to listen to Esperanza Spalding because her music spoke to me at this moment in my life. Jazz hits me that way. She plays a role in my memory for this particular day. Yes, I spent a day, rather a few hours in Vancouver itself but nonetheless it was the journey that made everything what it was.

Passing the border seem to take forever and the officers are never “nice”. Once I was officially on Canadian soil I went and exchanged some money and then headed to the University of British Columbia where I had planned on spending my time. I had researched and saw a garden on campus and felt drawn there. Upon my first exit entering into the city I drove past a pillar that read, “The meaning of life is Love”, and I checked in my rear view mirror to make sure it was clear, it was, so I reversed and took a picture, which is above, knowing that this was a sign of synchronicity that I was on the right path.

Japanese Zen Garden, UVBC

Not realizing the garden I was going to ended up being a Japanese Zen Garden I fell in love with the serenity of the garden. It was then I put on my IPod and began listening to Espe when the song Apple Blossom feat Milton Nascimento came on and I found myself sitting in the gazebo in a meditation. There I was, a foreigner, alone, and unbothered, meditating in a gazebo listening to Esperanza Spalding, just living in the moment….

So I know you’re wondering, what is it that I found in British Columbia, well I’ll tell you…. I learned to rely on and trust in Spirit. Trust in the process of how this thing called life and development works. After my time spent in Vancouver I drove 5 hours south down to Portland, Oregon for my aunt’s 50th birthday party and there I met one of my soul mates. I noticed him and he noticed me but time later told us that we rejoined each other for lessons learned. I helped him through defeating an addiction and he helped me believe further into faith when he was diagnosed with testicular cancer. He currently has 2 more chemo treatments to go and he’s been ever so positive throughout the entire process. And to think I would have never known him unless I had ventured out into British Columbia.
